Cindie Boyles currently serves as our founder and principal. She started working with students in a formal setting while she was still in high school and has loved it ever since. After completing her Masters Degree in Education she started her career here in Camas. She has worked in both public and private education, both in the classroom and administration. She has a passion to see students of all ages learn and grow. She recognizes that each student has God-given strengths and abilities and should be nurtured and taught to match those. Her vision to provide Bible-based education that fosters Christ-like character development has helped to develop CCA into the school that it is today. Cindie and her husband of 22 years have three children. As parents, they have seen firsthand the incredible impact that CCA has on students from an academic, social, spiritual, and physical standpoint as their oldest just graduated from CCA with honors.
Diane Finchum, Finance Director
Diane Finchum is a part of the administrative team at Camas Christian Academy. She has been employed at CCA since 2009. During her time at CCA, she has had the experience of teaching the 30-month, three-year-old, and Pre-K classes. In addition to teaching, Diane moved into the role of the school bookkeeper as of early 2015. She is now working as bookkeeper and registrar in the office full-time here at CCA. She loves living in Camas with her husband, Wes, and two children, Brycen and Madelyn.
Erin Ring has been married to her husband Dan for 13 years, and together they have two precious little girls; Jadyn and Ava. Erin received her Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from Portland State University in 2003 and has enjoyed her work in both residential architectural design, residential interior design, as well as her experience in event planning. Erin feels so blessed to have both of her girls attending Camas Christian Academy and has had the privilege of coordinating the annual CCA LITE Auction for the past few years. She looks forward to continuing her work with the auction as well as serving in other capacities to help CCA develop and flourish throughout the coming years. Erin is also very excited to have joined the performing arts teaching team this year and will have the honor of instructing dance to some of our students here at CCA. Dance has been a lifelong passion of hers, and she is thrilled to get to share her love and appreciation for dance with her students.
Ashley Schlauch, Curriculum Director/Student Council
Ashley Schlauch is entering her tenth year with CCA. After teaching in the classroom for five years, teaching PE/health for 3 years, she is entering her second year in the role of Curriculum Director. This position allows her to assist with teacher curriculum needs and monitoring progress within the school's curriculum and learning standards. She enjoys the flexibility of working with CCA staff members to support them in ways to engage all learners. In addition to this role, Ashley also co-leads our Student Council Team on campus. Ashley completed her bachelor's degree at WSU and enjoys spending her time with her husband and her two young daughters. She is excited to continue her career in educating children in this unique, loving environment.
Candi Chriss has a true heart for teaching children and a deep love for the Lord. She feels so blessed to be a part of the loving and supportive CCA team. Candi joins our school with twenty plus years of teaching experience. In her twenty years of experience, she has taught both pre-school and kindergarten. Candi spends her time with her husband, three grown children, and three adorable grandchildren. She enjoys going to the beach and painting in her spare time.
Laura Crang is entering into her third year of teaching at CCA. Mrs. Crang has worked with children throughout most of her life, including both elementary and early childhood education as well as homeschooling her own sons. She has her bachelor’s degree in elementary education as well as a certificate in Bible. She believes in providing opportunities for children to grow academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally. As part of the CCA family, we have the great privilege of teaching our students about Jesus and giving them opportunities to grow in a personal relationship with Him. This becomes integral in developing kindness and love toward others. Mrs. Crang continues to work hard to bring a balanced learning environment where each child can thrive.
This is Coral Lehman's 3rd year here at CCA. She graduated from Northwest University in Kirkland and has been involved in education in different capacities ever since. When not at school, Mrs. Lehman and her family enjoy the outdoors; boating in the Puget Sound, camping, and hiking. Mrs. Lehman is a native to the Northwest, but throughout childhood had the opportunity to live in and experience many parts of our nation. As she grew up, the Lord filled her heart with a love for different nations and cultures and opened doors for her to attend YWAM and participate in several overseas mission trips. As a teacher, Mrs. Lehman loves sharing her experiences and God's heart with her students. It is so good to see children begin to see their purpose, potential, and the truth of the love that God has for them. She considers it a blessing to partner with families and be just a small part of their student's story.
Lynn Anderson is married to Ken and they have 2 grown children. Lynn has a math and science background from Michigan Technological University, a highly respected science and engineering school. She also earned a multi-subject teaching certificate from Northern Michigan University and has professional development credits from Cambridge University, England. Lynn has taught for a number of years and has a heart for teaching middle school students. Giving students the tools necessary to analyze the choices they make and the skills to apply Godly principles to their lives with a depth of understanding to pursue truth is what fosters a love of learning.
Nick Mancillas is entering his second year with CCA. He brings his passion for God, sports, and youth to our Jr. High program. As our Social Studies teacher, P.E. Teacher, Athletic Director, and Coach, Nick has poured his heart into our school in many ways. Nick lives in Washougal with his wife Melissa and their two children, Ryan, 11, and Alexandra, 6, both of whom attend CCA.
Charis Wiegand, 3 year AM/Student Council/MS Electives/Aftercare Coordinator
Charis Wiegand joined the CCA family in the spring of 2016 as a substitute teacher and immediately fell in love with the students, staff, and mission. This year, she is teaching the 3-year-old preschool class, as well as the home economics and gardening elective classes for middle school. Charis received her Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from the University of Florida, and a Certificate in Horticultural Therapy from Colorado State University. Charis has enjoyed working in child care since 2010 but is overjoyed to now work in an educational setting where the focus is to share Christ's love with each child, and family that walks through our doors.
Cher Schmidt is married, has 3 adult sons, a 17 yr. old daughter and was blessed last Summer with a granddaughter. She has been in the Child Development field for over 20 years. She is passionate about teaching the early foundations of education and God’s love for us individually here at CCA.
Mr. Baiar is entering his third year at CCA. He attended WSU - Pullman and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance in 1989. Scott has played professionally for many years in the Pacific NW and has regularly played for worship with numerous churches for almost 3 decades. Scott has a passion to unabashedly praise and worship the Lord with his whole heart and strongly desires to see and encourage others to do the same. With a spiritual gift of teaching, Scott loves to impart understanding regarding subjects he is passionate about. With 2 beautiful daughters, ages 15 & 19, there is a very special place in his heart for children and he loves to lead and encourage them to know who they are in Christ and walk a powerful, joy-filled life. Scott is also an avid bicyclist, backpacker, and loves performing and listening to jazz.
Marilyn has a passion to help children be successful in reading. She has worked with children of all ages for close to 20 years in many different venues. She has taught Kindergarten and a 3rd-4th split class as well as tutored individual students for over 10 years. She has never felt more fulfilled than when teaching, whether in the classroom or with individuals doing remedial reading with a focus on those with dyslexia.
Hayden Kane is entering his 4th year being a music specialist here at CCA. He co-teaches the beginning band and the worship team classes, teaches private lessons, and runs sound for all CCA events. He has a heart for worship and loves seeing his students engage with the Lord in such a unique way.
Marc Roy, Hip-Hop/Dance/MS Bible/Electives
With 12 years of competitive hip-hop coaching under his belt, Marc Roy brings a new experience to the CCA family. His love for kids partnered with his years of experience makes for a great combination bridging the gap between both hip-hop and worship. This will be his fourth year and is glad to be part of the family!
Mike Sayer, Electives
Mike Sayer has taught Woodworking to middle school students for several years. He loves helping students to create and complete various projects and enjoys helping them understand the nature of wood and the craft of woodwork. He and his wife, Jackie, pastored for over 20 years in northern California, where they led many youth mission trips to other countries. His love is serving others, and he takes several trips a year on various short term mission trips, helping with construction projects and teaching these skills to the local residents. He has traveled to Africa, the Philippines, Prince of Wales Island working with the Native Alaskans, Jamaica, and other islands in the West Indies. His great joy is meeting all of his brothers and sisters all over the world.
Stacey Silva, Arts Director/Dance
Dance has always been a part of Stacey Silva’s life. She uses dance as an outlet for emotion, expression, and worship. Mrs. Silva has trained in various styles including ballet, jazz, modern, and aerial. She loves to watch CCA students take what they have learned and perform on stage.
Amy Roy has had a passion for dance and littles for over 15 years. She was a competitive dancer throughout high school and currently teaches the Preschool age dance classes here at CCA as well as some of the older grade afterschool teams. She feels so blessed to not only work here, but attend this great school with her husband, Marc Roy, and her 2 kids, Kingston and Kensley. Miss Amy also works on social media and Development for the school and enjoys being able to be part of the growth and plans God has ordained for the students and staff.
Erin Waller, Drama/Electives
Erin Waller has partnered with CCA for several years directing the Spring Production & Musical Summer Camp. She is beginning her second year teaching drama as a middle school elective and this year she will also be teaching art. She has a deep love for God and has a passion to share His love with her students and help them discover the gifts he’s placed in each of them. Erin lives in Camas with her husband of 23 years, Joey, and their three awesome kids, Jones (18), Mollie (14), and Nola (9.) They attend and serve at Grace Church. In her free time, Erin enjoys planning parties, beach trips, and writing/directing scripts.
Kellee Bleth, Lunch Aide
This will be Kellee Bleth's fourth year with CCA and she is our lunch aid and helps wherever it's needed. Being apart of this school brings her so much joy. The kids and staff are amazing!
Kim Boudon, Classroom Aide
Kim and her husband of 26 years have 2 adult children. She was blessed to be able to stay home with them throughout their childhood years until rejoining the workforce. For the past 5 years, she has worked in private Christian schools in a variety of positions. This will be her second year at CCA as a classroom aide. She most enjoys the one-on-one time spent and getting to know the uniqueness of each student. Kim also loves the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Rebecca Jones, Classroom Aide
As a classroom aide, Rebecca Jones brings years of experience working with children of all ages in many different settings. Rebecca has a passion for supporting, mentoring, and connecting with future generations. Being able to be present with each child and sharing the truths of Jesus are two of many things she loves about working at CCA. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys camping, crocheting, and observing all the beauties of nature.

Brittany Worley, Classroom Aide
Brittany Worley has a natural ability to relate to children of all ages on a personal level. She loves getting to know each of them individually. She started working in 2013 at summer camps, subbing, and doing aftercare here at CCA. She then took a position as a classroom aide and enjoys being surrounded by students on a daily basis. Brittany attends Grace Foursquare where she serves in the youth ministry. She is continuing her education at Clark College hoping to become a midwife. She loves the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
